The Netherlands have account numbers that contain no national code domestically, so your clients won’t be able to give you the information you need to check the bank data they are entering.
To alleviate this problem we have created a call which lists all the banks in the Netherlands, this call provides a list of bank names and the bank code. By using this call you can get your clients to select the bank they bank with and then use the list to retrieve the bank code.
The expected flow is to get the user to select the bank name that they currently hold their account with. This will give you the 4 digit alphabetic bank code which you will use to populate the national code field in call 1.01 on behalf of the user when validating the bank details. The flow below gives you the expected flow for this.
